Description:

Arista Networks is seeking an Application Development Engineer (ADE) - Backend to build and implement software tools and Machine Learning models.
The ADE will collaborate with other Developers throughout the software development life cycle.
The role requires Team Player abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Experience in Agile frameworks and popular backend coding languages (python, golang) is preferred.
The goal is to develop efficient programs and systems that meet user needs.
Responsibilities include creating software for specific customer needs and internal use, rapid proof of concept projects, open-source development, and technical support for products.
The ADE will need to maintain expertise through continued training, produce clean code, integrate software components, troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
They will also recommend and execute improvements, create technical documentation, and maintain professional relationships with teammates, partners, and clients.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
4 to 8 years of experience in software development.
Attention to detail and background in Linux, Unix, C/C++, Golang.
Understanding of complete backend workflow for web apps and experience in building third-party software integration and API’s.
Skills in release engineering, CI platforms, relational databases, and Agile methodology.
Creative thinker, team player, willingness to adopt new technologies, excellent communication skills, and troubleshooting aptitude.
