Description:

Avantia Law, a leader in legal services innovation, is seeking an Application Engineer / Front End Engineer / JavaScript Engineer to work on AI-powered tools for delivering legal and compliance work efficiently.
The ideal candidate will work on internal web apps, MS Word, and MS Outlook, creating intuitive experiences from complex data outputs.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Outlook and Word plugins, designing internal-facing web applications, and creating workflow management applications for legal tools.
The role involves collaborating with users, designing dashboards, and conducting full lifecycle application development.
The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge applications for internal operations and potential external projects in the future.

Proven experience in building Microsoft Office plugins (Outlook and Word) using JavaScript.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and web development technologies.
Understanding of user needs and the ability to design user-centric applications.
Experience in web or mobile application development, with design skills in dashboard design and implementation.
Familiarity with Figma or similar design tools is highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in developing modern Microsoft plugins for the Office suite of tools.
Strong JavaScript programming skills.
Some experience in UX, design, and dashboarding.
Background in building and deploying internal applications with a focus on workflow management.
