• Responsibilities include performing web and mobile application security testing and conducting security code reviews.
• The role involves being involved in the design phase of the Software Development Life Cycle, embedding security architecture principles.
• The AppSec Engineer will think of and implement new ways to automate and improve security across the business.
• The position also requires managing the bug bounty program and driving different program initiatives.
• Advising developers about secure coding practices and monitoring the elimination of identified vulnerabilities is also part of the job.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have more than 3 years of experience in the information security field.
• Experience in performing security testing, such as code reviews and web application security testing, is required.
• Knowledge of important security aspects, including OWASP Top Ten and secure coding best practices, is essential.
• Candidates should have experience with at least one programming language and the ability to automate and script their work, such as using Python or bash scripts.
• A solid understanding of the technology stack and a passion for problem-solving are necessary.
