We are currently looking for an experienced AppSec Engineer to join our Application Security team.
Responsibilities include performing web and mobile application security testing and conducting security code reviews.
The role involves being involved in the design phase of the Software Development Life Cycle, embedding security architecture principles.
The AppSec Engineer will think of and implement new ways to automate and improve security across the business.
The position also requires managing the bug bounty program and driving different program initiatives.
Advising developers about secure coding practices and monitoring the elimination of identified vulnerabilities is also part of the job.
Requirements:
Candidates must have more than 3 years of experience in the information security field.
Experience in performing security testing, such as code reviews and web application security testing, is required.
Knowledge of important security aspects, including OWASP Top Ten and secure coding best practices, is essential.
Candidates should have experience with at least one programming language and the ability to automate and script their work, such as using Python or bash scripts.
A solid understanding of the technology stack and a passion for problem-solving are necessary.
