The Application Security Architect will be responsible for ensuring that the company’s applications and data are protected from cyber threats.
This role involves working closely with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
The architect will conduct security assessments and mitigate vulnerabilities before they can be exploited.
The work is crucial in safeguarding critical software systems and helping the company remain resilient against evolving security threats.
Key accountabilities include conducting comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability scans on applications, APIs, and other software components.
The architect will identify and analyze security vulnerabilities and risks, developing strategies to mitigate them.
Collaboration with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) is essential.
Providing guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices and industry best practices is also a key responsibility.
Staying up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends is necessary to ensure the company’s security posture remains strong.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in application security.
A strong understanding of application security principles, including OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, and vulnerability assessment methodologies is required.
Experience with security tools such as vulnerability scanners, penetration testing tools, and security code analysis tools is necessary.
Knowledge of programming languages like C++ and Python is essential.
Experience with cloud security and DevOps practices is considered a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are required.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential.
