Description:
Match Group is seeking an Application Security Engineer II to ensure the highest standard of security for their products and members.
The role involves implementing security automation tools, conducting code analysis, evaluating bug bounty reports, and researching application vulnerabilities.
The engineer will need to maintain awareness of known vulnerabilities in application technologies used within Match Group and provide remediation guidance for vulnerabilities.
Collaboration with engineering and product teams is essential to effectively convey impact and guidance.
The position requires experience in securing large-scale web/mobile applications, performing security code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and manual testing for logic flaws.
Familiarity with dynamic and static application security tools, as well as threat modeling of web applications, is necessary.
The ability to adapt quickly and switch between different tech environments is crucial.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Security, Information Security, or a related field is required.
Requirements:
At least 2 years of professional experience in application security.
Effective partnership and communication skills with Engineering and Product teams.
Experience in securing large-scale web/mobile applications, including security code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and manual testing for logic flaws.
Familiarity with dynamic and static application security tools.
Experience in performing thorough threat modeling of web applications.
Ability to adapt quickly and context switch between different tech environments.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Security, Information Security, or related field.
