Description:
The Application Software Engineer (ASE) position at PRECISIONxtract involves developing and maintaining information systems to support the business.
The ASE will collaborate with the Product Management team and other stakeholders to review requirements, estimate development effort, implement and unit test software changes, and create software design and architecture diagrams.
Responsibilities include authoring database level objects and procedures, reviewing database object performance, documenting code and creating additional documentation for code usability, following corporate software development standards, performing risk-based code reviews, authoring unit tests, and participating in sprint planning and closing.
The ASE will also run lessons learned meetings to enhance the Software Engineering process, monitor process and software changes affecting production support, provide timely resolutions to production application issues, follow change management procedures, maintain production support standard operating procedures, create WIKI articles for common processes, conduct Root Cause Analyses, support helpdesk tickets, and perform other assigned tasks.
Requirements:
A BA in Computer Science or Programming is required for this role.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding and hands-on experience in all software development practices.
A minimum of 5 years' experience in developing enterprise applications is necessary.
Knowledge of software development patterns like Singleton, Factory, etc. is essential.
Hands-on development experience with ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, HTML, SQL Server technologies, and REST Web services (React) is required.
Experience in developing SQL objects and programming in T-SQL is a must.
Hands-on development experience in a Microsoft technology stack is also a requirement.

The compensation range for this role is estimated to be $87,500β$122,500 USD.
