Description:

• The Applications Software Developer (SME) will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and develop software applications aligned with business objectives.
• They will lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Developing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards is a key responsibility.
• Thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure quality and reliability.
• Staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends and incorporating them into the development process.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster continuous learning and growth.
• Participating in code reviews, team meetings, and project planning sessions for effective collaboration and communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software development, focusing on application development.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages like Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse.
• Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile/Scrum.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and principles.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions on time and within budget.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) is desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a US Citizen.
