Wealth.com is seeking an Applied Scientist specializing in AI/ML to work remotely in the United States.
The role involves applying advancements in Large Language Models (LLM), Computer Vision (CV), and Natural Language Processing (NLP) within the legal and financial tech sectors.
Applied Scientists will collaborate with Software Engineers and other Applied Scientists on various AI initiatives.
Responsibilities include finetuning and integrating LLMs into production systems, training and deploying large-scale NLP and CV models, and designing scalable Q&A RAG frameworks.
The position requires working with complex datasets to build ETL data pipelines and collaborating with product managers and engineers to enhance AI quality in production systems.
Effective communication and demonstration of work to stakeholders are essential.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have experience building sophisticated RAG pipelines with LLMs using frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
Experience with deep learning architectures, particularly with natural language models using Pytorch or Tensorflow, is necessary.
Proficiency in developing applications using prompt engineering and fine-tuning with Google Vertex AI APIs or Azure Open AI APIs is required.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of related experience or a Master’s/PhD with 1+ years of experience.
Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience creating publications and 2+ years of experience writing production code and maintaining AI/ML models.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Python is also required.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $165,000 to $185,000 per year.
