The Fintech Foundation team is responsible for optimizing pricing for ancillary products, balancing customer demand with financial risks.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional product teams to understand business requirements related to pricing, data engineering to create datasets for analysis, implementing automated ML training pipelines, and monitoring pricing models.
The applied data scientist will run A/B tests, respond to ad hoc requests for performance analysis, and diagnose the impact of external events.
Requirements:
A BSc or MSc in a highly quantitative field such as math, physics, statistics, or economics is required.
Candidates must have two or more years of experience applying data analysis and predictive modeling skills in a fast-paced business environment.
Excellent communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities are essential.
Strong coding skills in SQL and Python are required.
A pragmatic approach that prioritizes business impact over statistical nuance is necessary.
