The Fintech Foundation team optimizes pricing for ancillary products, balancing customer demand with financial risks, and helps product teams deliver new fintech products to market quickly.
The applied data scientist will contribute to the growth of the fintech business through innovative pricing and product construction across multiple partners.
Daily responsibilities include collaborating with product teams to understand business requirements, data engineering for analysis, implementing automated ML training pipelines, creating and deploying models, monitoring pricing models, running A/B tests, and responding to ad hoc analysis requests.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a BSc or MSc in a quantitative field such as math, physics, statistics, or economics.
A minimum of two years of experience in data analysis and predictive modeling in a fast-paced business environment is required.
Excellent communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities are essential.
Strong coding skills in SQL and Python are necessary for this role.
A pragmatic approach that prioritizes business impact over statistical nuances is expected from candidates.
