Description:

The position is for an Architect specializing in Java, AWS, and mobile experience at 3PILLAR GLOBAL, located in Mexico.
The role involves acting as the emissary of the architecture and being the technical owner from design to resolution of tailored solutions on cloud platforms based on client requirements.
Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to determine functional and nonfunctional requirements, assessing and planning for new technology insertion, and managing risk identification and mitigation strategies.
The architect will influence and communicate the long-term product vision, technical vision, development strategy, and roadmap.
Contributions to code reviews, documentation, and architectural artifacts are expected.
The role requires active leadership in the Architecture Practice community, mentoring engineers and others through Communities of Practice or on project teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience with Java 8/17, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Websphere App Server, Tomcat, Aurora PostgreSQL, Lambda, AWS Step Functions, EKS, ECS, Azure DevOps, Amazon RDS, and GitHub Actions.
Knowledge of Flutter mobile app development is preferable.
Foundational knowledge in Data Analysis, Modelling, Architecture, ETL Dataflows, and an understanding of highly scalable distributed and cloud-native data stores is desired.
Experience in designing applications across multiple technology platforms (web, desktop, mobile) and in designing SaaS or highly scalable distributed applications on the cloud is required.
Financial management experience and ROI calculation skills are also desired.
Candidates should hold a Solutions Architect certification on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and be TOGAF Certified.
