Remote Architect / Tech Lead

Description:

• The Architect / Tech Lead position at Cloud District involves leading technological projects and teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and applying advanced knowledge in system architecture and development best practices.
• Responsibilities include evaluating and defining system architecture to meet technical and business requirements, making informed decisions on the design and structure of complex systems for long-term scalability and sustainability, providing technical guidance and support to the development team and vendors, overseeing existing technological projects to meet deadlines and objectives, analyzing project status and providing regular reports, implementing and monitoring Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Domain Driven Design (DDD), coordinating with vendors to maintain quality and consistency, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment, and promoting open communication and cooperation.

Requirements:

• Several years of experience leading projects and teams in the technology sector.
• Ability to keep the team motivated to achieve challenging goals in dynamic environments while maintaining focus and composure.
• Proficiency in planning and managing effort, budget, time, and expectations.
• Comfortable managing large and diverse teams, including collaborators from different providers.
• In-depth knowledge of technical systems and architectures.
• Experience in making informed decisions about the structure and design of complex systems.
• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
• Knowledge of programming and application of best practices in software development.
• Proficiency in agile environments and tools like JIRA, Trello, Asana, or similar.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Desire to trust and collaborate with the team, adapt to change, and prioritize personal and team growth.
