The Associate Data Engineer will help build and maintain the data infrastructure, ensuring data quality and accessibility for analytics and media operations teams.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from various sources.
The role involves implementing data validation processes, writing and optimizing SQL queries, and developing Python scripts for data manipulation.
The Associate Data Engineer will utilize AWS Lambda functions for automating data processing tasks and manage code using Git for version control.
Collaboration with data analysts, media strategists, and stakeholders is essential to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
The position requires troubleshooting data-related issues and documenting data processes for knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
At least 1 year of experience in a data engineering or related role is required.
Strong SQL skills are necessary, including the ability to write complex queries using JOINs and aggregate functions.
Proficiency in Python and data manipulation libraries such as Pandas is essential.
Experience with data validation techniques and tools is required.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services, particularly S3 and Lambda, is necessary.
Experience with Git for code version control is required.
