Remote Associate Distinguished Engineer (Cloud Java)

Description:

• The Associate Distinguished Engineer will be responsible for owning the technology health of the project/account on all key metrics.
• They will ensure that projects/accounts meet technical standards of governance, technology standards, and best practices.
• The role involves owning the long-term and short-term technology strategy of the project/account.
• Identifying opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell Nagarro’s offerings within the current engagement.
• Conceptualizing and owning the technical architecture and design of the projects influenced.
• Utilizing consulting skills to provide thought leadership and breakthrough solutions for clients.
• Running workshops internally and with customers on technology and business topics to create new solution areas and use cases.
• Communicating and driving adoption of organizational technology initiatives within the account.
• Mentoring and managing team members by providing constant on-the-job feedback and guidance.
• Defining the vision for the practice/Center of Excellence (CoE), creating a plan/budget for the practice.
• Interacting with multiple projects/accounts to create innovative use cases, assess RoI, create rapid prototypes, and interface with client stakeholders to implement solutions.

Requirements:

• Must have 14+ years of experience in an enterprise architecture role with a track record of designing and implementing large-scale solutions.
• Expertise in cloud development and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Python for application development.
• Experience with risk management and developing mitigation strategies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable and resilient architectures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team and interact with stakeholders.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar are a plus.
• Vast experience in owning the delivery of complex technology solutions for global clients.
• Ability to multitask and own multiple technology tracks simultaneously in a globally distributed delivery setup.
• Balanced approach aligning technology-based solutions with customer needs.
• Visible thought leadership through technology blogs, whitepapers, presentations, etc.
• Fluent verbal and written language skills with the ability to convey messages in a simple and structured manner, customized to the audience and mode of communication.
