Description:

  • The Associate Principal Engineer will be responsible for advanced configuration on the Salesforce Customer 360 platform, especially Salesforce Field Service.
  • They will be involved in architecture and solution design for highly customized Salesforce solutions.
  • The role includes participating in discovery sessions with clients, mapping out business processes, defining user stories, creating wireframes, and generating technical design documentation.
  • The Engineer will oversee end-of-sprint demos to clients, conduct training sessions with client power users, and drive user adoption of custom Salesforce solutions.
  • Direct mentorship and talent development of team members is a key aspect of the role.
  • Approximately 40% of the time will be focused on hands-on architecture design or development, 25% with clients, 25% on talent development, and 10% on technical engineering support for Sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of delivering quality Salesforce solutions, with at least 5 years of Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Field Service, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with CPQ experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Field Service Consultant.
  • Advanced Salesforce Field Service Professional Accreditation is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in leveraging Salesforce declarative configuration tools, especially Flow builder, to develop customized solutions.
  • Ability to architect and design complex Salesforce solutions and communicate them effectively to the team and clients.
  • Experience in driving executive-level discussions around business requirements, integration planning, and user story definition.
  • Collaboration with other Team Technical Leads to ensure Agile and delivery best practices are followed.
