Description:
The Associate Principal Engineer will be responsible for advanced configuration on the Salesforce Customer 360 platform, especially Salesforce Field Service.
They will be involved in architecture and solution design for highly customized Salesforce solutions.
The role includes participating in discovery sessions with clients, mapping out business processes, defining user stories, creating wireframes, and generating technical design documentation.
The Engineer will oversee end-of-sprint demos to clients, conduct training sessions with client power users, and drive user adoption of custom Salesforce solutions.
Direct mentorship and talent development of team members is a key aspect of the role.
Approximately 40% of the time will be focused on hands-on architecture design or development, 25% with clients, 25% on talent development, and 10% on technical engineering support for Sales efforts.
Requirements:
Proven track record of delivering quality Salesforce solutions, with at least 5 years of Salesforce experience preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Field Service, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, with CPQ experience preferred.
Minimum of 5 Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Field Service Consultant.
Advanced Salesforce Field Service Professional Accreditation is highly preferred.
Proficiency in leveraging Salesforce declarative configuration tools, especially Flow builder, to develop customized solutions.
Ability to architect and design complex Salesforce solutions and communicate them effectively to the team and clients.
Experience in driving executive-level discussions around business requirements, integration planning, and user story definition.
Collaboration with other Team Technical Leads to ensure Agile and delivery best practices are followed.
