Description:

  • Design, build, test, and implement software code to enable computer systems to perform specific tasks.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and product management to launch new applications and iterate on existing features.
  • Write automation code for provisioning and operating infrastructure at a large scale in cloud and data center environments.
  • Develop continuous deployment processes and integrate data center and cloud operations.
  • Design and develop test automation for validating builds in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Monitor server applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems using tools and log files.
  • Provide clear ownership, milestone preparation, meeting facilitation, and active engagement in tasks to ensure project schedules are met.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to ensure complete project management from start to finish.
  • Monitor application performance and health, communicate progress and technical issues.
  • Support internal business leadership as a subject-matter expert.
  • Program new features to support the business model.
  • Query SQL databases to produce data supporting Infrastructure teams and the business.
  • Lead and prepare Software Development deployments during Sprint releases.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot application issues including bugs, APIs, user errors, and system crashes.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and application development tools.
  • Experience with Ruby Programming Language is required.
  • Strong technical skills and operational knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with others.
  • Computer literacy, typing skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Must be comfortable with corporate computer systems.
