Description:

  • The MEMIC Group is seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Software Engineer to join their dynamic team.
  • The role involves the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions.
  • Responsibilities include supporting small to medium deployments, configurations, and expansions of systems through analysis and customization.
  • The engineer will ensure applications integrate with the existing infrastructure of the company.
  • Collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure seamless operation and successful project implementation.
  • The position requires assisting with technical quality review and testing at various points throughout a project lifecycle.
  • The engineer will translate use cases and requirements into user stories with support from other team members.
  • The role serves as a point of contact for development-related issues, concerns, and needs.

Requirements:

  • An Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in .NET/C#, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, XML/JSON/web services, and SQL queries and stored procedures is required.
  • Experience working with source control systems such as Git or TFS in a team environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle, including agile and waterfall methodologies, is necessary.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Outlook/Exchange and SharePoint, is required.
  • Experience with development and programming of SQL relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, is needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with being a team player.
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver on expectations for project goals or software development efforts is required.
