Description:
The MEMIC Group is seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Software Engineer to join their dynamic team.
The role involves the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions.
Responsibilities include supporting small to medium deployments, configurations, and expansions of systems through analysis and customization.
The engineer will ensure applications integrate with the existing infrastructure of the company.
Collaboration with various teams is essential to ensure seamless operation and successful project implementation.
The position requires assisting with technical quality review and testing at various points throughout a project lifecycle.
The engineer will translate use cases and requirements into user stories with support from other team members.
The role serves as a point of contact for development-related issues, concerns, and needs.
Requirements:
An Associate Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in .NET/C#, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, XML/JSON/web services, and SQL queries and stored procedures is required.
Experience working with source control systems such as Git or TFS in a team environment is preferred.
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle, including agile and waterfall methodologies, is necessary.
Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Outlook/Exchange and SharePoint, is required.
Experience with development and programming of SQL relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, is needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with being a team player.
A demonstrated ability to deliver on expectations for project goals or software development efforts is required.
