The Associate Software Engineer position is a remote role focused on connecting people to their governments through technology.
As a member of the engineering team, you will work on a suite of applications, engaging in both front-end and back-end development.

Responsibilities include debugging websites and email newsletters using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and learning SQL queries.
You will assist with data pipelines, focusing on data validation and optimization to ensure accuracy.
The role involves gaining hands-on experience with various backend and web application technologies.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build cohesive solutions and contribute to user experience improvements.
Requirements:
You should have early coding skills and a desire to learn and grow through software problem-solving.
A background of 0-1 years in scripting, software development, or equivalent knowledge with modern tech stacks is required.
You must be able to interpret client specifications and identify user requirements, making recommendations during meetings.
Familiarity with .NET and C# or other object-oriented languages is necessary.
Experience with cloud environments and development in Linux/Unix systems is a plus, particularly with AWS, Bash, and nginx.
You should have familiarity with building and testing HTML email newsletters for various email clients.
An interest in Generative AI and LLM technologies, along with a curiosity to learn more, is expected.
A strong eagerness to learn, explore, and embrace new technologies and development practices is essential.
