Remote Associate Software Engineer

Description:

• The Associate Software Engineer position is part of MCA Connect’s Development Center of Excellence (DCoE) program.
• The start date for this position is March 3, 2025.
• This is a full-time, salaried position focused on developing and testing software applications.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing extensions to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application platforms.
• The role involves coding, unit testing, and creating supporting documentation as needed.
• The individual will gain an understanding of customer needs and collaborate with other consultants to complete design and testing.
• The position requires learning how to migrate customer data sources into Microsoft’s sources, ensuring proper alignment of data models.
• The Associate Software Engineer will also implement reports according to requirement documents and standards.

Requirements:

• A completed B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline is required.
• Candidates should have 1-3 years of professional software development experience.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies is necessary: JAVA, C#, .NET, SQL, XML.
• Knowledge of standard development techniques (SDLC) is required.
• Understanding of Relational Databases and Object-Oriented Programming and Design is essential.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Microsoft development tools is expected.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• A professional business demeanor and a customer-focused attitude are essential, along with a desire to interface directly with end-user clients.

• The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 a year, plus an uncapped supplemental compensation (bonus) plan paid out quarterly.
