Description:
The Associate Software Engineer position is part of MCA Connect’s Development Center of Excellence (DCoE) program.
The start date for this position is March 3, 2025.
This is a full-time, salaried position focused on developing and testing software applications.
Responsibilities include designing and developing extensions to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application platforms.
The role involves coding, unit testing, and creating supporting documentation as needed.
The individual will gain an understanding of customer needs and collaborate with other consultants to complete design and testing.
The position requires learning how to migrate customer data sources into Microsoft’s sources, ensuring proper alignment of data models.
The Associate Software Engineer will also implement reports according to requirement documents and standards.
Requirements:
A completed B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, MIS, or a related discipline is required.
Candidates should have 1-3 years of professional software development experience.
Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies is necessary: JAVA, C#, .NET, SQL, XML.
Knowledge of standard development techniques (SDLC) is required.
Understanding of Relational Databases and Object-Oriented Programming and Design is essential.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and Microsoft development tools is expected.
Strong analytical problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
A professional business demeanor and a customer-focused attitude are essential, along with a desire to interface directly with end-user clients.

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 a year, plus an uncapped supplemental compensation (bonus) plan paid out quarterly.
