Remote Associate Software Engineer, Frontend

Description:

• Lucidworks is seeking an Associate Software Engineer specializing in Frontend development to create and maintain exceptional user interfaces for their products.
• The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient frontend applications using technologies such as StencilJS, TypeScript, and SCSS.
• Responsibilities include contributing to the development of reusable user interface components, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define user interface requirements, and engaging in peer code reviews.
• The engineer will ensure consistency across Lucidworks' user interfaces, work with the design team to translate concepts into functional interfaces, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Staying updated with emerging frontend technologies and contributing to the development of component libraries and build/deployment processes using tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and ArgoCD is also part of the role.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent real-world experience is required for this position.
• Candidates should have experience with modern frontend frameworks and libraries, with StencilJS experience being a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in high-pressure situations are essential.
• An enthusiastic attitude towards fixing issues and delivering quickly and effectively is necessary.
• Candidates must be resourceful, agile, and able to work independently while also being a team player who can collaborate with a diverse community.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with empathy and care for all stakeholders.
• The ability to handle confidential information is also a requirement.

• The salary range for this position is between $90,450 and $130,000 per year, depending on interview performance and experience.
