Remote Associate Software Engineer (K8)

Description:

• Acquia empowers brands to create impactful digital customer experiences using the Acquia Digital Experience Platform (DXP) based on open source Drupal.

• As an Associate Software Engineer, you will be part of the Foundation Services team, focusing on core services that support all Acquia products.
• You will work on creating and provisioning highly available and scalable compute clusters using Kubernetes and AWS.
• Your responsibilities include developing features to evolve the Acquia Platform, working in a DevOps-focused team, and participating in the entire software development lifecycle.
• You will build shippable product increments in an Agile Scrum team and develop unit and automated integration tests.
• Providing product support to internal and external stakeholders is also part of your role.

Requirements:

• You should have 6 months to 2 years of software development experience with exposure to cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience in software development using PHP or GoLang is required, along with familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting (Bash).
• A solid understanding of distributed systems and API design is necessary.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) or equivalent technologies is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• You should possess an ownership and end-to-end delivery mindset.
• Familiarity with Argo CD is considered a plus.
