Remote Associate Solutions Engineer, Central (Remote, US)

Description:

• This position is for an Associate Solutions Engineer at Grafana Labs, a technology startup in a high growth phase.
• The role is remote and located in the Central Region of the United States.
• The Commercial Solutions Engineering team serves as in-house, customer-facing product experts.
• Responsibilities include educating potential and existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and success.
• The team shares technical and product expertise through demos, hands-on enablement, presentations, technical evaluations, and ongoing interactions.
• The role involves partnering closely with the Sales team to help qualify and close opportunities.
• The Associate Solutions Engineer will communicate customer feedback to the Product Management and Engineering teams.
• The position requires delivering product and technical presentations to customers and proactively communicating with them and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be located in the Central Region of the United States.
• A minimum of 1-3+ years of technical pre-sales experience is required, ideally with Open Source technologies or in the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership skills are necessary due to the varied and complex nature of the job duties.
• Candidates must be able to work and collaborate with an international team in a remote-first environment.
• First-class written and oral communication skills are essential for articulating the value proposition and technical advantages of the products.
• A passion for solving technical challenges and providing creative solutions to customers is important.
• A technical mindset and a desire for technical growth are required; candidates may be recent graduates of coding bootcamps or have previous post-sales or engineering experience.
• Self-motivation, initiative, and creativity are key traits for success in this role.
