Description:

  • The Associate Staff Engineer will be responsible for writing and reviewing high-quality code.
  • They will need to have a strong working experience in development with Mendix and Native mobile Mendix.
  • The role requires expertise in Java programming language and frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and React.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, is essential.
  • The engineer should have a strong understanding of Mendix Studio, Mendix Studio Pro, and Mendix Runtime.
  • Experience in developing custom widgets and modules for Mendix is necessary.
  • The role involves working with databases, data modeling, and integrating Mendix applications with external systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Responsibilities include understanding functional requirements, envisioning solutions, coordinating development activities, and leading/supporting UAT and production rollouts.
  • The engineer will be involved in troubleshooting, bug resolution, and providing constructive feedback to team members.
  • Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong working experience in Mendix and Native mobile Mendix.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Expertise in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and React.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development best practices.
