Description:
The Associate Staff Engineer will be responsible for understanding client's business use cases and technical requirements and converting them into technical designs.
They will need to have a strong understanding of central IAM concepts such as digital identity, authentication, authorization, provisioning, governance, and automation.
The role involves mapping decisions with requirements, identifying different solutions, defining guidelines for NFR considerations, and writing/reviewing design documents.
The engineer will review architecture and design aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and ensure best practices are followed.
They will need to resolve issues raised during code/review through systematic analysis and carry out POCs to ensure suggested designs/technologies meet requirements.
Requirements:
Total experience of 5+ years in the field.
Strong understanding of central IAM concepts and hands-on experience with IAM implementation projects.
Familiarity with one or more IAM technology stacks and knowledge of security protocols such as HTTP, OIDC, OAuth2, SAML2, UML, and FIDO.
Programming knowledge to support IAM solution implementation.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a drive to continually learn more about the IAM domain.
