Remote Associate Staff Engineer, Identity and Access Management

Description:

• The Associate Staff Engineer will be responsible for understanding client's business use cases and technical requirements and converting them into technical designs.
• They will need to have a strong understanding of central IAM concepts such as digital identity, authentication, authorization, provisioning, governance, and automation.
• The role involves mapping decisions with requirements, identifying different solutions, defining guidelines for NFR considerations, and writing/reviewing design documents.
• The engineer will review architecture and design aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and ensure best practices are followed.
• They will need to resolve issues raised during code/review through systematic analysis and carry out POCs to ensure suggested designs/technologies meet requirements.

Requirements:

• Total experience of 5+ years in the field.
• Strong understanding of central IAM concepts and hands-on experience with IAM implementation projects.
• Familiarity with one or more IAM technology stacks and knowledge of security protocols such as HTTP, OIDC, OAuth2, SAML2, UML, and FIDO.
• Programming knowledge to support IAM solution implementation.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a drive to continually learn more about the IAM domain.
