Description:
The position is for an Associate Staff Engineer specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM) at Nagarro, a Digital Product Engineering company.
The role is remote and available to employees in India, with a full-time commitment.
The engineer will be responsible for understanding client business use cases and technical requirements, converting them into technical designs that meet those requirements.
The engineer will map decisions with requirements and translate them to developers.
The role involves identifying various solutions and narrowing down the best options that meet client needs.
The engineer will define guidelines and benchmarks for non-functional requirements (NFR) during project implementation.
Responsibilities include writing and reviewing design documents that explain the overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of applications for developers.
The engineer will review architecture and design for aspects such as extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, and NFRs, ensuring adherence to best practices.
The role requires understanding technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects.
The engineer will resolve issues raised during code reviews through systematic analysis of root causes and justifying decisions made.
The engineer will carry out proof of concepts (POCs) to ensure that suggested designs and technologies meet requirements.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a total experience of 5+ years in the field.
A strong understanding of central IAM concepts, including digital identity, authentication, authorization, provisioning, governance, and automation, is required.
Hands-on experience with IAM implementation projects is necessary.
Familiarity with one or more IAM technology stacks is essential.
Knowledge of security protocols such as HTTP, OIDC, OAuth2, SAML2, UML, and FIDO is required.
Programming knowledge to support IAM solution implementation is necessary.
Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a curiosity to continually learn more about the IAM domain are essential.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
