Remote Associate Staff Engineer (Mainframe)

Description:

• The Associate Staff Engineer (Mainframe) will be responsible for providing technical mainframe competence.
• They will actively participate in the agile Mainframe team.
• The role involves gathering functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders and documenting them.
• The candidate will align and coordinate delivery with the product owner, product team colleagues, and tech leads to ensure consistency in solutions.
• Collaboration within and outside the product team is essential to secure resilient solutions and shared technical design.
• The Associate Staff Engineer will provide technical design and guidance on Code Review, Test Automation, and DevOps best practices.
• Ideal candidates should have 2+ years of practical experience in Cobol and Mainframe development.
• Technical strength in Cobol, JCL, DB2 databases, and SQL is expected for this role.

Requirements:

• Must have skills in MF COBOL, IBM DB2, and MySQL.
• 2+ years of practical experience in Cobol and Mainframe development.
• Strong technical knowledge in Cobol, JCL, DB2 databases, and SQL.
