Description:
BPM is seeking a passionate Assurance Senior/Supervisor to join their growing Blockchain and Digital Assets practice.
The role involves working with large crypto entities including exchanges, wallets, miners, trading platforms, and funds involved in DeFi, mining, staking, lending, and NFTs.
Responsibilities include leading day-to-day execution and delivery of audit and advisory activities, supervising associate-level professionals, and communicating audit matters with the engagement manager.
The position requires developing and maintaining client relationships to drive client satisfaction, researching and applying complex accounting concepts, and drafting financials and audit findings.
The role also includes mentoring associates by providing training, feedback, and career guidance while fostering a team environment.
Requirements:
A passion for blockchain and digital assets is essential.
A licensed CPA is preferred, along with a BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is also preferred.
Experience in blockchain and digital assets is ideal but not necessary.
Familiarity with technical accounting matters common to the industry, such as token issuances and exchange/custodial accounting, is required.
A minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience is necessary, with prior experience in core assurance services including audit planning and developing audit programs.
Knowledge of internal accounting controls, control testing, and professional standards is required.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, are essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word, is required.
An understanding of the blockchain and digital assets technology ecosystem, including smart contracts and crypto tracking software, is necessary.
