Remote Auth Engineer at Supabase

Description:

Supabase, an open-source Firebase alternative, is looking for an Auth Engineer to assist in building new features and maintaining existing ones in the Auth product.
The Auth product is written in Go (server) and has client libraries for TypeScript, SSR, and other frameworks and technologies.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of Software Development experience and a strong understanding of web technology fundamentals like cookies, sessions, JWT, HTTP, and browser APIs.
Knowledge of authentication security, including passwords, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and cryptography fundamentals, is required.
Experience with web frameworks like Next.js, Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel, Go, TypeScript, and Postgres is essential.
Good technical writing skills are necessary as the RFC process is crucial for making changes to the Auth product.

3+ years of Software Development experience.
Strong knowledge of web technology fundamentals such as cookies, sessions, JWT, HTTP, and browser APIs.
Good understanding of authentication security, including passwords, OAuth, OIDC, SAML, and cryptography fundamentals.
Experience with web frameworks like Next.js, Ruby on Rails, Django, Laravel, Go, TypeScript, and Postgres.
Proficiency in technical writing for the RFC process.
