Remote Automation Solutions Engineer

Description:

• Clipboard Health is a fast-growing tech startup focused on connecting healthcare professionals with facilities through an app-based marketplace.
• The Automation Solutions Engineer will be a key member of the support team, responsible for building and optimizing automated processes using scripting languages.
• This role involves ensuring seamless integrations between the tool stack and AWS services, as well as developing functions to pull data from various API endpoints and the Snowflake database.
• Key responsibilities include developing, deploying, and maintaining AWS Lambda functions, managing data extraction from API endpoints, collaborating with internal teams, troubleshooting issues, monitoring performance, maintaining documentation, and staying updated on AWS developments.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in building and managing AWS Lambda functions and other AWS services.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation tasks is necessary.
• Strong SQL skills for data manipulation and integration with databases are required.
• Experience with integrating API endpoints and working with Snowflake is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex challenges independently are essential.
• Strong communication skills are needed to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of data integrity and reliability are important.
• A continual learner who is eager to stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to technical operations and automation is preferred.
• Candidates must have a minimum 15Mbps internet connection, an i5 processor or equivalent, at least 12GB RAM, a quiet working environment, and a steady power and internet connection.
