Description:
Analytica is seeking a Cloud Architect to build and maintain complex cloud-based data solutions based on AWS and Snowflake.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with federal clients to architect and develop secure cloud solutions.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing scalable and secure cloud-based data architectures, defining data models, and establishing best practices for data storage and processing.
The role involves transitioning existing cloud AWS environments, building and optimizing data pipelines, and implementing monitoring mechanisms for cloud data infrastructure.
The candidate will partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and provide mentorship to data engineers and analysts.
Ensuring data solutions meet enterprise security and compliance standards is crucial, including implementing role-based access controls and monitoring vulnerabilities.
The position also requires optimizing Snowflake data warehouses and performing regular audits and capacity planning for data infrastructure.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Candidates must have CMS experience and a current AWS Solution Architect certification.
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in developing and testing large-scale enterprise software is necessary.
At least 6 years of experience in developing governed data analytics solutions, including expertise in data pipelines and visualizations, is required.
Candidates should have 5+ years of cloud-based data warehousing experience, including Redshift and Snowflake.
Hands-on experience in designing and deploying large-scale cloud-based data solutions is essential.
Proven expertise with AWS services and a deep understanding of Snowflake architecture is required.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, or Scala is necessary.
Candidates must possess strong communication and collaboration abilities, along with an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
