Remote AWS Cloud Engineer

Description:

• ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a Cloud Engineer position that is 100% remote, working during east coast core business hours.
• This is a contract position expected to run through August 2025, with the potential for extension or conversion to a full-time employee.
• Candidates must have permanent work authorization and be able to work for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future; third-party candidates are not eligible.
• The role requires candidates to provide their AWS/Azure Certificate completion number and a LinkedIn link in their summary.
• Key responsibilities include working with AWS IAM, AWS Network and security, AWS organization, AWS S3 bucket security, Terraform, monitoring, cloud migration, and troubleshooting cloud challenges and solutions.
• Experience with Azure Power BI, Azure Purview, and Azure Landing Zone is also required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess advanced soft skills for effective communication and customer satisfaction.
• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Engineer supporting both Azure Cloud and AWS Cloud is required.
• At least 3 years of experience with Hashicorp Terraform Enterprise development, including CRUD operations, module consumption and contribution, and state management.
• Proficiency in Open Source and Git concepts is necessary.
• Desirable experience includes Google Cloud and at least 3 years of application support and network support/troubleshooting.
• Candidates should have a strong understanding of IP networks, subnets, and routing.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in coding solutions and scripting processes for automation is required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP technologies, and experience deploying and troubleshooting cloud network technologies such as load balancers and firewalls is essential.
• Candidates should have experience with integration of cloud-deployed solutions back to on-premise data centers and cross-cloud integrations.
• Administration experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux Red Hat operating systems is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems is required; a Master's degree in Computer Science or Security is desired.
• Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect Associate and Azure.
