Description:

• Delaware Nation Industries/Indigenous Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer / Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Propulsion Integration Division (AFLCMC/LPZ).
• This position is responsible for sustaining and securing the Core Engine Maintenance System (CEMS) hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• The role provides cloud infrastructure, system administration, and cybersecurity leadership to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of critical Air Force mission systems.
• The ability to obtain a security clearance is required for this position.
• A Security+ Certification is also required.
• This position is 100% remote.
• Responsibilities include administration of production, development, and test environments in AWS, optimizing and sustaining CEMS cloud environments, analyzing system requirements, and securely integrating system components.
• The role involves implementing AWS native services, supporting ICAM solutions, conducting system performance tuning, and providing technical recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
• As the ISSM for CEMS, the individual will oversee all cybersecurity and compliance efforts, manage documentation in accordance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST 800-53 controls, and lead efforts to assess and implement cybersecurity policies.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or cybersecurity roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services is necessary.
• A deep understanding of cloud architecture, security principles, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks is essential.
• Familiarity with IAM/ICAM, system hardening, and DoD STIGs is required.
• Proficiency with cloud-native tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI is necessary.
• Experience with RMF processes, vulnerability management tools, and compliance reporting is required.
• Desired qualifications include experience supporting DoD systems and obtaining/maintaining ATOs, knowledge of Air Force cybersecurity and compliance procedures, and familiarity with ICAM integration in cloud-based systems.
