Description:

Delaware Nation Industries/Indigenous Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer / Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s (AFLCMC) Propulsion Integration Division (AFLCMC/LPZ).
This position is responsible for sustaining and securing the Core Engine Maintenance System (CEMS) hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The role provides cloud infrastructure, system administration, and cybersecurity leadership to maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) and ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of critical Air Force mission systems.
The ability to obtain a security clearance is required for this position.
A Security+ Certification is also required.
This position is 100% remote.
Responsibilities include administration of production, development, and test environments in AWS, optimizing and sustaining CEMS cloud environments, analyzing system requirements, and securely integrating system components.
The role involves implementing AWS native services, supporting ICAM solutions, conducting system performance tuning, and providing technical recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
As the ISSM for CEMS, the individual will oversee all cybersecurity and compliance efforts, manage documentation in accordance with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST 800-53 controls, and lead efforts to assess and implement cybersecurity policies.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, systems administration, or cybersecurity roles.
Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure and services is necessary.
A deep understanding of cloud architecture, security principles, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks is essential.
Familiarity with IAM/ICAM, system hardening, and DoD STIGs is required.
Proficiency with cloud-native tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI is necessary.
Experience with RMF processes, vulnerability management tools, and compliance reporting is required.
Desired qualifications include experience supporting DoD systems and obtaining/maintaining ATOs, knowledge of Air Force cybersecurity and compliance procedures, and familiarity with ICAM integration in cloud-based systems.
