Remote AWS Cloud Engineer

Description:

• The AWS Cloud Engineer at LightEdge Solutions works within the AWS Operations team to support customers using the AWS platform.
• Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining AWS environments, implementing custom solutions, troubleshooting customer issues, and collaborating with different departments.
• The position may require working off hours, participating in the 24x7 on-call rotation, and engaging with AWS Support on behalf of customers.
• The engineer must stay updated on the latest AWS offerings, provide exceptional customer service, and document interactions accurately.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 6 months to 2 years’ experience with AWS development and systems administration.
• Possession of at least one current AWS Certification.
• Strong preference for experience or certification in Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like Ruby and Python.
• Solid understanding of AWS, networking principles, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively in a team, and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
