Description:

Workana is the largest remote work platform for talents in Latin America, focusing on matching exceptional professionals with leading companies globally.
The role is for an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to develop scalable, orchestrated, and containerized infrastructure solutions on AWS.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing robust cloud architectures and a solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code practices, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration tools.
Experience with penetration testing or security best practices is a strong plus.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, building containerized environments using tools like Docker, and orchestrating them with Kubernetes or ECS/EKS.
The engineer will automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, collaborate with development teams, set up and manage CI/CD pipelines, monitor system performance, and support incident response.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure engineering.
Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS) is required.
Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation) is necessary.
Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins) is essential.
Familiarity with security protocols, monitoring tools, and cloud best practices is expected.
An understanding of networking, VPC configuration, IAM, and cloud governance is required.
Optional experience with penetration testing or security auditing tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset are necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote environments are required.
