We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS services, strong DevOps expertise (Jenkins, GitLab, or Kubernetes), and proficiency in scripting with Python, Perl, or BASH.
This role involves managing cloud infrastructure, automating deployments, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability.
This is a fully remote position and requires an active Secret clearance or higher.
Responsibilities include managing and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
The engineer will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is also required.
The role involves monitoring and optimizing cloud performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing best practices for cost efficiency.
Enhancing security and compliance by managing IAM roles, policies, and encryption best practices is essential.
The engineer will deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes (EKS) or other orchestration tools.
Developing and maintaining scripts (Python, Perl, BASH) to automate operational tasks, system monitoring, and cloud resource management is part of the job.
Collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth deployments and troubleshoot production issues is expected.
Staying up to date with AWS and DevOps trends to enhance system efficiency and reliability is crucial.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience with AWS services.
Strong DevOps expertise in tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Kubernetes is required.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or BASH is necessary.
An active Secret clearance or higher is required for this position.

Benefits:
