Description:

IRIUM is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to contribute to the development and optimization of data infrastructure.
The role requires proficiency in DBT, Snowflake, GitHub, and additional experience with Apache Airflow, Python, and AWS.
This position demands senior-level expertise, fluency in English, and the ability to work remotely from Spain.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines using DBT, Apache Airflow, and Python.
The engineer will integrate data from various sources into Snowflake, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Collaboration with Data Scientists and ML Engineers is essential for seamless data processing and integration.
The role involves optimizing data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and scalability.
Version control and collaboration on data engineering projects will be managed using GitHub.
The engineer will manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for data processing and storage.
Troubleshooting issues related to data pipelines and infrastructure is a key responsibility.
Comprehensive documentation of data processes, pipelines, and infrastructure must be maintained.

Requirements:

A degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on DBT, Snowflake, and GitHub is necessary.
Proficiency in Python, Apache Airflow, and AWS is required.
Fluency in English, with excellent communication and collaboration skills, is essential.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, are required.
Experience in developing and maintaining data transformation workflows using DBT is a must.
Proficiency in Snowflake for data storage and integration is required.
Strong skills in version control and collaboration using GitHub are necessary.

The position allows for 100% remote work from Spain.
An indefinite contract with IRIUM is offered.
