Description:
As an AWS Developer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling cloud-based solutions to support Lumata Health's healthcare platform.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, data science, and clinical operations, to integrate AWS services that enhance patient care, data management, and operational efficiency.
You will manage existing AWS serverless resources across a variety of services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, Athena, CloudFormation, and Amazon Connect.
Your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing scalable applications on AWS.
You will update and build new integrations between AWS services and Salesforce, and assist in EMR integration development.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and achieve project objectives will be essential.
You will implement security best practices and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Participation in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members will be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of two years of professional programming work experience is necessary.
Experience in software engineering and AWS cloud technologies is essential.
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript is required.
Experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues is expected.
A working knowledge or experience with cloud architecture and design is necessary.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in AWS is required.
You must participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees is essential.
Experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation is required.
A strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs is necessary.
Knowledge of healthcare data privacy standards, such as HIPAA, is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
The ability to work independently in a remote setting is essential.
