Remote AWS DevOps Engineer

Description:

• We are looking for a talented AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team.
• This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in LATAM.
• The ideal candidate should have expertise in AWS technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for building scalable and resilient infrastructure.
• Main activities include supporting and extending existing AWS-based infrastructure, managing and enhancing infrastructure deployment processes for scalability and reliability, managing Access Control Lists to ensure secure infrastructure access, and collaborating with project stakeholders and developers to define secure, scalable, robust, resilient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have experience in provisioning and managing AWS EC2 instances (Windows & Linux).
• Experience with AWS Code Deploy, AWS S3, AWS CloudWatch, AWS Auto Scaling, and AWS RDS is required.
• Candidates should have experience scripting/automating processes to monitor/manage resources.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is necessary.
• Proficiency in using Github is required.
• Experience with CDN technologies like Cloudfront and Fastly is preferred.
• Candidates must have experience setting up and managing AWS ECS.
• Proven experience configuring and setting up Datadog over AWS infrastructure is required.
• Advanced English proficiency is necessary.
• A thorough understanding of Microservices architecture, preferably on Kubernetes and/or AWS, is desirable.
