Description:

Mactores is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join their team as a freelancer, working remotely from Mumbai, MH.
The role involves managing large customer deployments using DevOps Engineering principles such as Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Automated Monitoring for enterprise applications and big data workloads.
The candidate will have hands-on technology expertise and client-facing skills, focusing on cloud deployment best practices and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include automating operational workflows using Terraform, managing application configuration, and taking ownership of the build and release cycle for customer projects.
The engineer will enhance operations infrastructures, provide operational support for migrating dedicated hardware to the cloud, and establish operational best practices.

Requirements:

A minimum of 4 years of experience using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
At least 4 years of experience in configuration management and engineering for large-scale customers, ideally in an Agile development process.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in Linux or Windows Administration.
At least 4 years of experience with version control systems (git), including branching and merging strategies.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working with AWS Infrastructure and platform services.
At least 2 years of experience with cloud automation tools such as Ansible or Chef.
Exposure to container services like Kubernetes on AWS, ECS, and EKS.
A proactive approach to identifying improvements and enhancing reliability.
