Remote AWS Full Stack Developer

Description:

• We are seeking an AWS Full Stack Developer with strong NodeJS for backend and JavaScript for frontend coupled with hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
• AWS infrastructure knowledge and Terraform experience is essential for this role.
• This position requires a deep understanding of UI development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HTTP methods, and browser behavior.
• Responsibilities include contributing to security and identity management aspects of the software.
• The developer will develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular (v2 and above) or React, with a strong emphasis on React.
• The role involves implementing UI components, managing state using Redux, and ensuring a visually appealing and responsive user interface with good CSS skills.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement backend functionality, including API integrations using SOAP and REST, is required.
• The developer will utilize AWS services and technologies such as S3, EC2, CloudFront, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, load balancing, autoscaling, and serverless architectures.
• A basic understanding of serverless computing and cloud infrastructure management is necessary.
• The role includes applying DevOps principles and practices by managing CI/CD pipeline workflows and deployment tooling.
• The developer will develop automation scripts using Bash or Python for tasks such as generating build artifacts and deploying applications.
• Greenfield app development in React & NodeJS using AWS serverless gateway patterns and Terraform IaC is part of the job.
• The developer will collaborate with team members, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the overall software development lifecycle.
• Staying updated with industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions and enhance the development process is expected.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in NodeJS, ReactJS, AWS, and Terraform is required for this position.
• Strong UI skills with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and browser behavior are necessary.
• Extensive experience with Git is a must.
• A solid grasp of API integration is required.
• Experience with serverless cloud-native development using AWS services like S3, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudfront CDN, Cognito, and RDS is essential.
• Previous experience deploying applications using build pipelines in a CI/CD Agile environment is required.
