Description:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Migration Engineer to lead and execute end-to-end cloud migration projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, networking, and cloud architecture.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing end-to-end AWS migration strategies.
The engineer will lead complex migration projects from planning to execution.
Responsibilities also involve optimizing existing infrastructure for cloud environments.
The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions.

Additionally, the engineer will implement and manage secure, scalable network architectures in AWS.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in cloud migrations, with a focus on AWS.
A deep knowledge of AWS migration services such as AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service, and AWS Server Migration Service is required.
A strong understanding of networking concepts and implementations in AWS is essential, including VPN and AWS Direct Connect, VPC peering, AWS Transit Gateway, Network Address Translation (NAT), route tables, subnets, security groups, and Network Access Control Lists (NACLs).
Expertise in a wide range of AWS services is necessary, including compute services like EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS; storage services like S3, EBS, EFS; database services like RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora; networking services like VPC, Route 53, CloudFront; security services like IAM, AWS WAF, AWS Shield; and management services like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config.
Experience with AWS Dedicated Hosts and EC2 Dedicated Instances is required.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation is necessary.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell are required.
Candidates should have experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
A working knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible is required.
