Description:

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Architect specializing in Azure who is experienced at leading application migration assessments and cloud readiness evaluations.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality architectural designs and have expertise in Azure, networking, security, IAM, Kubernetes (AKS), containers, Azure App Service, DevOps practices, and GitHub Actions.
This role requires strong analytical abilities, proactive communication, and outstanding soft skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and teams.
Key responsibilities include conducting comprehensive application migration and cloud readiness assessments.
The candidate will lead high-level and detailed architectural designs covering Azure Well Architected Framework pillars and application modernization requirements.
They will facilitate requirement-gathering workshops, translating business and technical requirements into actionable design documents.
The role involves developing and presenting Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculations and migration cost analyses to stakeholders.
The candidate will provide expert guidance and leadership throughout cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, is essential.
Clear, concise, and proactive communication across all levels of the organization is required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, specifically in application migrations and modernizations within Azure environments is required.
Deep technical knowledge in Azure Cloud services, networking, security frameworks, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Kubernetes (AKS), container technologies, and Azure App Service is necessary.
Strong hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD using GitHub Actions or similar tools is essential.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to conduct effective cloud assessments and translate business needs into high-quality architectural designs.
Exceptional soft skills, including clear communication, proactive engagement, and effective teamwork, are required.
