Description:

  • The Azure Cloud Engineer at LightEdge Solutions works within the Azure Operations team to support customers using the Azure platform.
  • Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining Azure environments, implementing custom solutions, troubleshooting customer issues, and participating in on-call rotations.
  • The position requires collaboration with various departments, documenting customer interactions, staying updated on Azure offerings, and providing exceptional customer service.
  • The engineer will work second or third shift with the possibility of off-hours support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 6 months to 2 years’ experience with Azure development and systems administration.
  • Possession of at least one current Azure Certification.
  • Strong preference for experience or certification in Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages like PowerShell, Ruby, and Python.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Ansible, and Jenkins.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, strong interpersonal skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of networking principles, components, and terminology.
