Description:
Keyfactor is seeking a Cloud Engineer to provide operational support for federal solutions hosted in the cloud.
The role focuses on improving customer experience by ensuring platform and product availability to meet contractual SLAs.
Responsibilities include building and configuring complex cloud-hosted solutions, optimizing system performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.
The engineer will secure and harden hosted solutions, maintain server upgrades and patching, and collaborate with architecture teams.
Documentation of current systems and maintenance of policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures is required.
The position involves facilitating product testing for future application version deployments and monitoring infrastructure and product availability.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2 or more years of experience with architecture, design, configuration, and deployment within the Microsoft Azure platform.
Experience working on Federal contracts is a plus.
Proficiency in automation tools like Bicep and Terraform, as well as configuration management tools like DSC and Ansible, is required.
Familiarity with container infrastructure management, specifically Azure Kubernetes, is necessary.
Candidates should have 2 or more years of experience in Systems Administration, including Windows OS, Linux OS, IIS, and Active Directory.
Proficiency in PowerShell and experience managing code with Git or other repositories is essential.
Familiarity with SIEM tools like Azure Sentinel and Azure platform monitoring tools is required.
Understanding of networking concepts, network protocols, and firewalls is necessary.
Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting abilities and experience building and supporting Azure SQL Database.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work alongside organizational leaders are required.
Azure certifications are a plus.
