Description:
Per Scholas is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer/Developer (AI & EdTech Applications) to join their national training team.
The position is fully remote and part-time, requiring up to 20 hours per week for 6 months.
The role involves developing and integrating an intelligent AI chatbot application and pioneering EdTech applications like virtual and simulated labs platforms.
Responsibilities include collaborating with various stakeholders, leading the design and development of the AI chatbot application, and creating immersive lab environments for hands-on learning.
The candidate will build scalable cloud solutions using Azure services, manage cloud resources, and ensure security standards.
The role also includes developing custom APIs for integration, tracking application performance, troubleshooting issues, and providing training and support to technical staff.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in Azure and Cloud technologies.
A current Microsoft Azure certification at least at the Associate level is required.
Strong technical background with the ability to convey complex technical subjects is essential.
Experience with Azure AI Services and implementing integration solutions with Microservices, RESTful Web Services, and Web APIs is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in systems architecture, design, development, and object-oriented programming.
Knowledge of Agile engineering practices and hands-on coding/scripting experience (Python / Powershell) is required.
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL data sources, Git/GitHub, and a commitment to ongoing professional development is expected.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical/industry experience is preferred.
Benefits:
The targeted salary range for this role is $85,000 - $88,400, depending on geography and qualifications.
