Description:

  • The Azure DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing DevOps practices and pipelines in Azure cloud environments.
  • The role focuses on Secure by Design principles and adherence to industry and government security standards.
  • The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and security to enable efficient, automated, secure, and scalable software delivery.
  • Responsibilities include providing break-fix support, proactive and reactive maintenance, and optimizing infrastructure performance and costs.
  • The engineer will support the live Azure platform, manage client service requests, and provide 3rd line support.
  • Key tasks include conducting vulnerability assessments, enforcing security policies, and ensuring compliance with corporate Information Security Policies.
  • The role involves designing, building, and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, implementing best practices for version control, and using Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • The engineer will configure real-time monitoring and alerting within Azure and foster strong relationships with software development, testing, and operations teams.
  • Documentation of deployment processes, architecture designs, and troubleshooting guidelines is also required.
  • The engineer will provide training and support to other team members to ensure the adoption of best practices in DevOps.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have extensive experience in Azure DevOps managing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Knowledge of Azure networking and zero trust methodologies is essential, particularly in live services support.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) is required.
  • Candidates should understand security best practices for cloud environments and be able to implement compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
