Remote Azure Engineer

Description:

• Planet Technologies is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Azure Engineer in the Eastern US, working remotely.
• The role involves supporting impactful projects that benefit the country, focusing on designing, migrating, and implementing complex solutions.
• Candidates will work with Federal customers in the DC Metro area, understanding their current environment and performing gap analysis.
• Responsibilities include setting up multiple Azure environments, testing and supporting pilot services, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert to advise senior leadership and provide leadership to technical staff.
• The position requires producing well-written technical documentation tailored to the customer’s environment, objectives, and requirements.
• Effective communication with the customer’s technical staff and management team is essential, along with prior experience in supporting cloud infrastructures.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess a current Microsoft Certification or be actively working towards obtaining one.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting similar projects is required.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary, with an emphasis on producing well-written technical documentation.
• Candidates must be able to work well with clients and team members at all levels.
• A Bachelor's Degree or 4-5 years of compatible experience is required.
• Candidates must be US Citizens and clearable up to a public trust.
