Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Azure Level II Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure cloud technologies, focusing on Azure VMs, Logic Apps, and monitoring solutions.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows environments is required.
As a Level II Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and optimizing system performance to ensure seamless operations.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for Azure cloud services, with a deep understanding of Azure VMs, including provisioning, configuration, and optimization.
You will have in-depth knowledge and working experience on Azure Subscription, Azure Network, Azure Active Directory, Express route, Compute, storage, Alerts, and Hyper-V.
You will run daily operations of Azure and Azure stack hub hosted Windows and Linux workloads.
You will manage Windows OS virtual machines, including patching, backup, and other OS support activities that involve L2 issue troubleshooting.
Experience with Azure native tools like Azure Monitor, Application Insight, Log Analytics Workspace, Azure Policy, Azure Update, and Azure Security Center is required.
You will configure and manage Azure Logic Apps for workflow automation, integrating with various Azure services and external systems.
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions such as Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics to monitor system performance, identify trends, and proactively address issues.
Respond to escalated incidents and service requests from Level 1 support teams, diagnosing and resolving issues related to Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
Perform system administration tasks on Linux and Windows servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability using monitoring tools and implement proactive measures to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
Participate in on-call rotation schedule to provide after-hours support and address critical incidents.
Document procedures, configurations, and best practices to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
Proficient in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure and automation workflows using AWS, including configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on supporting Azure cloud environments is necessary.
Strong understanding of Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Monitor, and Azure Log Analytics is essential.
Hands-on experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration, including shell scripting and PowerShell scripting is required.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently are necessary.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders, are required.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are preferred.
