Remote Azure Integration Engineer

Description:

• The Azure Integration Engineer will start their workday by examining system health dashboards and addressing any service-related issues to maintain system uptime.
• The role involves collaborating with development teams to refine CI/CD pipelines, ensuring high code quality and efficient builds, testing, and deployments.
• Responsibilities include managing Azure B2C identity flows and API Management (APIM) configurations for secure integration.
• The engineer will perform vulnerability assessments using Defender for Cloud, SonarCloud, and Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) to enhance security.
• Daily tasks also include resolving support tickets, reviewing system performance, and preparing for upcoming deployments or projects.
• Break-fix support will be provided to resolve system issues and minimize downtime in line with Service Level Agreements, including out-of-hours support.
• Proactive and reactive maintenance will be conducted to monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
• The engineer will provide 3rd line support for Azure customer identity and integration services, addressing escalated issues while coordinating with internal teams.
• Real-time monitoring tools will be implemented for applications and underlying infrastructure, along with proactive alerts and incident response procedures.
• Regular vulnerability assessments will be conducted, enforcing security policies and ensuring patching and system hardening measures are applied.
• Collaboration with development teams will be essential to provide technical guidance and support for new projects and enhancements.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have the ability to manage requests from multiple sources and prioritize workloads for timely task delivery.
• Experience in providing high-quality break-fix support in a fast-paced environment is required.
• Proven ability to monitor and maintain complex cloud-based systems to ensure uptime and performance is essential.
• Experience in creating and configuring applications in Azure is necessary.
• Knowledge of claims providers and technical profiles in B2C is required.
• Candidates should be able to create complex and customized user flows based on requirements.
• Technical skills required include knowledge of OpenID, OAuth2.0, and SAML2.0 identity and access protocols.
• UX/UI customization in Azure AD B2C user flows is necessary, along with experience in creating and customizing user flows.
• A strong understanding of user management and custom attributes in Azure AD B2C is required.
• Experience with APIM, security, and cloud-to-cloud integration is essential.
• Hands-on experience in developing Azure Functions, Web Apps, and C# programming is required.
• Proficiency in using Azure Blob storage, Application Insights, and monitoring tools is necessary.
• Expertise in building and automating CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps is required.
• Candidates must have experience managing Azure subscriptions and resources efficiently, along with expertise in managing customer identity using Azure AD B2C.
• Hands-on experience with SonarCloud and ZAP in a CI/CD pipeline for code quality and security scanning is necessary.
• Understanding of SSL certificates and security best practices is required.
• Experience in implementing custom policies using the Identity Experience Framework in Azure AD B2C is essential.
