Description:
As an Azure Solutions Architect at ProArch, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust cloud solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
Your role will involve assessing and understanding client requirements to provide architectural solutions on Azure that align with their business objectives.
You will design, implement, and optimize cloud architecture following best practices of Azure services.
Collaborating with development teams to create cloud-native applications and integrating existing applications with Azure services will be a key part of your responsibilities.
You will lead the migration of on-premises applications and infrastructure to Azure cloud.
Establishing and maintaining governance for Azure environments, addressing compliance and security needs, is essential.
Conducting training and workshops for clients on Azure technologies and best practices will be part of your duties.
Staying updated on Azure services, solutions, and trends to continuously improve capabilities is expected.
You will build proof of concept for proposed solutions to validate architecture decisions effectively.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Proven experience architecting complex, scalable, and high-performing Azure solutions is necessary.
Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure components, including Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Security Services, is essential.
Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders, are necessary.
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required.
A broad understanding of Azure, particularly PaaS, is essential.
Working experience with Azure cloud PaaS data services (e.g., Data Lakes, SQL, SQL Data Warehouse, Synapse, Databricks, Data Factory, PowerBI, Logic Apps) is necessary.
The ability to architect across the four V’s of data (Volume, Variety, Velocity, and Veracity) is required.
Programming experience in a modern language, preferably C# and/or Python, is necessary.
Knowledge of web and app development is required.
Experience with Azure DevOps, Pipelines, Repos, Boards, CI/CD, ARM Templates, and Azure CLI is essential.
